FAQ
Architectural rendering FAQs
Answers about inputs, turnaround, deliverables, and project scope.
What is 3D architectural rendering?
3D architectural rendering is photorealistic imagery of an unbuilt project: exterior, interior, and aerial views produced from CAD, Revit, BIM, or SketchUp models. Developers, architects, and marketing teams use it for pre-sales, leasing, entitlements, and investor packages before the building is constructed.
What inputs do you need to start a rendering project?
We work from architectural plans, elevations, sections, and 3D models exported from Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or AutoCAD, plus interior finish boards, landscape plans, and any brand references. If a project is still early we can start from schematic plans and iterate as design develops.
What are typical turnaround times?
Single exterior or interior renderings usually take one to two weeks after the first draft, with two rounds of client review. Multi-image marketing packages, aerials, and animations run longer, driven by scene count, level of detail, geometry complexity, and the number of finish variations.
What deliverables and resolutions do you provide?
Final imagery is delivered at print resolution (typically 4K to 5K on the long edge), plus web-ready crops for listings, decks, and social. Deliverables include full-usage rights for the developer or brand client for marketing, sales, and PR of the depicted project.
Do you handle both residential and commercial projects?
Yes. We visualize multifamily, single-family, hospitality, office, mixed-use, and sports and entertainment projects across the US, Canada, and internationally, including the Middle East.
What does 3D architectural visualization cost?
Cost depends on scene count, level of detail, geometry complexity, animation length, and revision scope. Send plans through our contact form and most quotes come back the same day.
