Virtual reality architecture company
Radical Galaxy is a virtual reality architecture company creating immersive VR and augmented reality experiences for architecture and real estate, built in Unreal Engine and Unity that let clients explore designs as if they're already built. Our real-time VR walkthroughs let buyers, tenants, and stakeholders explore unbuilt spaces at true 1:1 scale, moving through rooms, comparing finishes, and understanding the design with a clarity static images can't match. For developers and brokers, VR turns a sales center into an immersive preview that shortens the path from interest to commitment. For architects and design teams, real-time VR design review lets stakeholders walk a space during the design process, catching spatial and scale decisions before they're built.

How we build a real-time VR & AR experience
- 01
Scope & platform
You share plans, model files, and the target device — Meta Quest for sales-center use, tethered PC VR or high-fidelity XR (Varjo, Vision Pro) for design review, AR on tablet, or WebXR in a browser. We align on interactivity, finish options, and demo length.
- 02
Real-time build
Geometry, materials, and lighting are rebuilt as a real-time scene in Unreal Engine or Unity at true 1:1 scale, optimized for smooth headset performance.
- 03
Interactive layer
Teleport nav, finish and furniture swaps, day/night lighting, and design-review markup are wired in for stakeholder walkthroughs and sales-center demos.
- 04
Delivery & support
Delivered as a packaged build for Quest, PC VR, AR, or WebXR, with onsite setup guidance for sales galleries and design-review sessions.

Architectural VR & AR FAQs
Answers about Unreal Engine, headsets, walkthroughs, and design review.
What is architectural VR?
Architectural VR is a real-time, immersive walkthrough of an unbuilt building in a virtual reality headset. Buyers, tenants, and design stakeholders explore the space at true 1:1 scale, walk from room to room, look up and down, and get a spatial sense of the design that static renderings and flythrough videos can't fully deliver.
How is VR used in architecture and real estate?
Developers and brokers use VR in sales centers to turn an early-stage project into an immersive preview that shortens the path from interest to commitment. Architects and design teams use real-time VR design review to walk a space with clients during design, catching scale, sightline, and material decisions before construction starts.
What VR platforms and engines do you use?
We build real-time VR experiences in Unreal Engine and Unity. Deliverables target Meta Quest standalone headsets (the default for sales-center use), tethered PC VR (Valve Index, HTC Vive), high-fidelity XR headsets for design review (Varjo, Apple Vision Pro), AR on iPad, and WebXR for browser-based access with no install.
Do you support sales-center installations?
Yes. We help spec the right hardware for your sales gallery — headset model, touchscreen kiosk, or interactive wall — and deliver a packaged, kiosk-ready build with a clean launch flow, attract-loop when idle, and reset between guests. Onsite or remote setup guidance is included, along with a short staff-training walkthrough (how to hand the headset to a buyer, swap finishes, reset the demo) and remote troubleshooting after launch.
What is AR used for in real estate?
Augmented reality overlays a 3D model onto the real world through a phone or tablet — for example, showing a proposed building on its actual site during a broker tour, or letting a buyer see furniture and finish options placed in a finished unit.
How is VR different from a 360° virtual tour?
A 360° virtual tour runs in a browser with no headset — great for wide distribution on listings and websites. A VR experience runs in a headset at true 1:1 scale with real-time interactivity — finish swaps, day/night lighting, teleport navigation — designed for sales centers, design review, and high-touch buyer presentations.
What does a VR or AR experience cost?
Most real estate VR and AR work lands between $10,000 and $150,000+. Single-family VR walkthroughs typically run $20,000 to $50,000, condo pre-sales experiences $30,000 to $100,000+, master-planned digital twins $50,000 to $150,000+, and AR applications $10,000 to $100,000+. Scene count, interactivity, finish and lighting variants, and target platforms move the number. Full ranges and what drives them are in our VR and AR cost guide.
