Project snapshot
Radical Galaxy Studio delivered photoreal unit-interior renderings and a full immersive virtual-reality walkthrough for 1400 W. Monroe, a JK Equities condominium in Chicago's West Loop. The visualization suite let prospective buyers step through the primary residence, including the kitchen, living room, and bedroom, before the units were built, with a shared warm-neutral palette and city-view glazing that carried across every asset from a static rendering to a headset-based tour.
The Challenge
JK Equities was selling condominiums in the West Loop before there was a building to walk through. That is a hard thing to ask of a buyer. Signing early means committing to a home you can only picture, and a floor plan won't tell you how afternoon light falls across the kitchen counter, how the living room feels at full scale, or what you actually see when you look out toward the city. There was no model unit yet. And a folder of renderings, however polished, still leaves the real question open: what is it like to stand inside this place?
Our Approach
We built the primary residence as a single coordinated 3D environment and pulled two connected layers of visualization out of it. The first was a set of photoreal renderings of the kitchen, living room, and bedroom, each framed for the sales gallery and the marketing site. We kept the finishes consistent across all of them: warm-neutral cabinetry, natural wood, the Chicago skyline reading through the glazing. The second layer came from that same model. We produced a real-time VR walkthrough of the unit, so a prospective buyer could put on a headset, stand in the space, look up at the ceiling height, look out the windows, and judge the proportions themselves. Same geometry, same materials, two ways to experience them.
The Outcome
The sales team could carry one story from the first still on the leasing page, to a broker's follow-up email, to a headset tour in the sales office, and the look never shifted from one to the next. Buyers came away with a real, inhabitable sense of the finished condominium: the island in the kitchen, the way the living room sits, the light in the bedroom. All of it well before the West Loop shell ever topped out.
1400 W. Monroe was produced through our condominium and multifamily rendering program for pre-sales marketing.
