With over 190,000 square feet of shopping, food and entertainment, the Retail Village at Ten Trails features a unique town-center retail village that emphasizes connection and community. The development is the latest addition to Oakpointe's master-planned community in the Seattle suburb of Black Diamond.
The Challenge
Oakpointe Development needed to introduce a 190,000-square-foot town center to the Black Diamond community while courting national retail tenants who would evaluate the site from across the country. The same visuals had to reassure neighbors and recruit anchors.
Our Approach
Renderings gave the community its first look at the proposed town center streetscape. A 360-view tour let prospective retail tenants explore the plaza remotely, and a virtual reality experience allowed the developer to walk investors and anchor tenants through the full scope in immersive detail.
The Outcome
A three-tier visualization package — renderings, 360, and VR — that supported both community engagement and national retail-tenant recruiting for the Ten Trails master-planned community.
